LaFayette Community Liaison
Adrian Holloway is a native of LaFayette and a 2001 graduate of Jacksonville State University. She currently serves as administrator for a local not-for-profit hospice agency. A nurse by profession, she has 20+ years of nursing experience in a variety of areas that include hospice, medical/surgical, labor & delivery, postpartum, nursing education as well as rehabilitative nursing. Adrian is active in her community and seeks out/creates opportunities to make a difference. She is the founder of P.H.Y.R.E. (People Helping Youth Reach Excellence) which is an organization whose primary focus is to impact and enrich the lives of our youth; one of the avenues for doing this is through a partnership established with the local school district to host an annual Back to School Bash to provide free school supplies to students across the district and in the surrounding area. Adrian currently serves as board member for the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a recipient of the Greater Valley Area “Community Mover & Shaper Award”. She has worked closely with the City of LaFayette on various projects and was instrumental in assisting to re-establish a LaFayette tradition of Christmas on the Square and the annual Christmas parade after many years without it.
